Ravel Travel Inc. ("Ravel," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Sparkboard platform (the "Service") available at sparkboard.net. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account. We do not receive or store your Google password.

User-generated content: Sparks (saved travel inspiration), clusters, itineraries, preferences, and any other content you create within the Service.

Usage data: We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, device type, browser type, approximate location derived from IP, and diagnostic events that help us understand product performance.

Product analytics and session replay: With your continued use of the Service (and where permitted), we may use third-party tools to collect event-level analytics, funnels, and session replays (recordings of on-screen interactions) so we can improve the product, diagnose bugs, and understand drop-off points. We configure these tools to avoid collecting passwords or payment card data. You may opt out of optional analytics cookies via the in-app notice and your browser settings as described in our Cookie Policy.

Location data: When you create sparks or itineraries, we process location information (city, country, coordinates) to provide mapping and clustering features. We do not track your real-time physical location.

• PostHog — for product analytics, feature usage, and optional session diagnostics
• Microsoft Clarity — for session replay and heatmaps to improve usability

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and secure cloud infrastructure. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
